Wardell Johnson, a native of Greenwood, MS., graduated from Knoxville College (TN.) in 1973. He started his professional career as a claim adjuster with Allstate Insurance Company in Knoxville, Tennessee. He was transferred to Lexington Ky. to manage the claim office for Allstate Insurance Company and after 3 years, he decided to make a career change; one he thought would be more rewarding and fulfilling. He attended Eastern Kentucky University and completed his requirements for his MS Degree in Sport Management in May, 1994. During his years at EKU, he was encouraged by many of his professors to pursue his doctorate and in May of 2003, he earned a doctorate in Sport Management from the University of Kentucky, Lexington, Kentucky. |
