Gay Member of Congress Reintroduces Student Non-Discrimination Act

Rep. Jared Polis (D-Colo), one of the openly gay members of Congress, reintroduced legislation on March 10 aimed to protect LGBT students against bullying and discrimination in school. In the U.S. House, Polis introduced the Student Non-Discrimination Act at a time when bullying of LGBT students is receiving considerable attention.
