Ohio Colleges Aim for More Diversity

More and more Ohio schools are recruiting minority students to diversify their campuses and help meet state goals to grow the number of Ohio college students to more than 700,000 by 2017. Ohio Governor Ted Strickland’s plan for higher education includes increasing both the number of first-time college students to 33,000 and increasing the number of blacks and Hispanics who complete degrees to 14 percent of graduates.
